- Peak to Platzl Trail– Fully paved and lit walking path. Walk out of Mountain Edge to the ski village and to downtown Kimberley. Only 30 minutes at a leisurely pace. Walk to town and treat yourself with dinner and a drink or go shopping.
- Kimberley Nature Park – 800 hectares of park with varied terrain and diverse ecosystems provide endless opportunities for recreation. Kilometers of multi-use trails, criss-cross the forested hillsides, linking ponds and panoramic viewpoints.
- Walk the trail from Kimberley to Marysville and enjoy a well-deserved lunch reward.
- Hike the Lois Creek Trails of mature forest adjacent to the townsite
- Enjoy the pretty Cominco Gardens only a 3 min drive or 15 min walk from the Platzl
